Is it possible that stress or sudden movement can create a form of spasticity ?

I have been aware for ages about how difficult walking can become if there is a knock on the front door. Presumably a stress response is triggered After a while pain just becomes pain whether CPSP or perhaps spasticity induced. Almost who cares, it just ……. hurts
